If the T-zone of your face easily gets dirty and unhealthy shine, while the rest of the face is dry and flaky – you’ve got combined skin type. In the case if the skin of your face does not cause any particular problems and has good structure – it is a normal skin type.

Beauty masks for oily skin

Citrus mask: squeeze the juice of lemon, orange and grapefruit. Add some honey. Then apply the resulting mixture on your face and leave for 15 minutes. When it’s time – wash the mask away. It dries the skin well, fighting with acne and nourishing the skin with vitamins.

Tomato mask regulates the activity of your sebaceous glands and then pulls the toxins out of your pores. Chop the tomatoes in a blender to a state of pulp, add oatmeal for thickness and apply on face for 15 minutes.

A bran beauty mask rejuvenates and regenerates the skin, has a mattifying effect. Cover rye or wheat bran with warm milk and leave for 20 minutes to soak. Apply the mixture for 25 minutes on your face. Rinse with warm water.

A parsley mask refreshes the skin and helps to get rid of oily shine. Mince the parsley, add egg yolk and put the mixsture into the fridge for 10 minutes. Apply the mask for 20 minutes.

The white clay mask

White clay is a perfect antioxidant. Mix it with talcum powder, add 3 tablespoons of alcohol and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply the mixture on your face and leave to dry completely. This mask penetrates into the deeper layers of your skin, eliminating inflammation. You would get rid of the blemishes as well as of the oily shine on your face.

The tumeric mask

Turmeric is not just a tasty spice. You can make a healthy mask with it. It perfectly fights the inflammatory processes in the skin and protects it from further appearance of blemishes. Moreover, turmeric heals wounds and dissolves scars. Mix a teaspoon of the spices with aloe juice to get a viscous mass. Apply the resulting mixture on your face and leave for 15 minutes.

Mask with a horse radish: mix the horseradish juice with lemon juice in a 1:1 ratio. Add a spoonful of fat sour cream and apply a thick layer on your face. Leave for 20 minutes and wash off. Cabbage beauty mask for fighting acne, pigment spots and freckles. Finely chop the cabbage and squeeze out the juice, add a teaspoon of honey and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Wipe the face with the resulting liquid and apply the remaining pulp. Wash off in 15 minutes.

Masks for dry skin

Carrot beauty mask: grate carrots on a grater and mix with the egg yolk. Apply the resulting mixture on your face and leave for 10 minutes. It fills your skin with vitamins, supporting the moisture balance of it. Remember that carrots have a tinting effect. Do not use the mask immediately before leaving the house.

A Chocolate mask can be a great moisturizer. Melt the milk chocolate on a water-bath, add the egg yolk and sour cream. Apply the sweet mixture on your face and leave to dry completely. Wash off with warm water without soap.

Masks for dry skin

A sand-thorn mask works well for moisturizing and exfoliating the skin. Mix 1 tablespoon of the sand-thorn with an egg yolk until smooth and apply on your face for 10 minutes. Wash off with cool water.

A watermelon mask moisturizes the skin, relieves burning sensation and removes flaking. Mix 2 cups of watermelon juice with a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of salt. Apply the liquid on your face, neck and chest area with a cotton pad. Wash off in two hours with cool water.

Masks for combination and normal skin

Yogurt mask has amazing nutritional properties. It’s enough to use it once a week. Grind the oatmeal in a blender and mix them with yogurt until creamy. Apply for 25 minutes and wash off.

A peach mask is particularly vital in the summer. It fills the skin with beneficial micro-elements and cleans the pores. Squeeze peach juice and put the pulp aside on a separate plate. Soak a thick cloth with the juice and apply it on your face. Lay out the fruit pure over it. Keep the mask on for 20 minutes.

Masks for combination

A potato mask relieves swelling as well as helps to restore the skin’s fluid balance. Crush a potato with a grater and add baking soda on the tip of a knife. Add an egg to the mixture, a tablespoon of milk-powder and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Wear the mask for 15 minutes.

Brew 1 tablespoon of natural, not granulated tea. Leave to infuse for 40 minutes, soak a cotton pad in the infusion and wipe your face with it. Leave for an hour and wash off with cool water.

A yoghurt mask nourishes the skin with proteins and cleanses the pores. Add a teaspoon of lemon juice in plain yogurt and leave the mixture for 20 minutes.

 Masks for normal skin

An apple mask tonifes the skin and gives it a healthy glow. Grind an apple in a blender, add a spoon of honey or an egg white to the resulting puree and apply it on for 25 minutes.
