The Balm Nude ‘tude Nude Eyeshadow Palette

Hello everyone! Today I would like to talk to you about an interesting palette of shadows of the American company the Balm. Despite my infinite love Urban Decay, it’s very curious to try something new (although this palette presented on the market a long time ago). So I invite all who are interested!

A detailed opinion:

The palette is packaged in a box, the print is the same as on the palette

The palette itself has quite a standard package, instead of latches – there is a magnet, it’s powerful enough and the palette doesn’t open on its own, but at the same time, when you need it, you do not have to put wildest effort to open it. Inside of the palette six beauties ( oh la la) are waiting for us ( one for every two colors of shades, accordingly, they ( shadows) are a total of twelve, thanks, cap. Also double-sided synthetic brush is included. Brush – neither fish nor fowl. I do not use it (because there are other brushes). But in marching conditions, it quite rescued me. Despite the fact that the brush is made of artificial cloth, it gains material greatly and transfers it to the eyelid (although shading with using exactly this brush – it is more then quest). It is very soft, it does not scratch the eyelid, it cleans easily, it will not go. Let’s look at it closer.

Let’s begin to consider themselves shadows. As mentioned above, the palette NUDE contains 12 shades. First, I’ll show a general view:

Now, separately:

Sassy it is white shimmer shade. It is very well pigmented. I use sometimes in the evening make-up to highlight the inner corner of the eye and under the brow. But rarely, because it is so very bright and I’m starting to look like a transsexual.

Snobby is golden shimmer hue. I use it mostly for smoother shading of another shade. I used sometimes it like a highlighter, but for this purpose I am more impressed with another shade, which will be discussed below.

Stubborn is a dusty pink shade with a matte satin finish. It has perhaps the weakest pigmentation of the whole palette, but nevertheless I really like to use it in everyday makeup. It attaches lid delicate glow that looks very natural day makeup. For me – it is an alternative shade of WOS from palette Nakes Basics by UD. Do not throw slippers, the shades are various, even by finish, but for me they are both perfect shades for everyday makeup.

Stand-offish is shimmer light pink shade. I’m using it exactly as a highlighter. Again, I draw an analogy with palette Naked Basics. For me, this shade is an alternative to hue Venus, only with pink shade. I put it into the inner corner of the eye, under the eyebrows, on the cheekbones protruding part, to a tick of the upper lip.

Selfish – sorry, but the camera distorted the color, I couldn’t get to catch it on my arm, there will be photos of make-up below, there will be a correct shade. It is a beautiful shimmer taupe color. I love it tenderly, I use often. Perhaps it is the most often used shade from this palette.

Sultry is matte brown shade. It is an analogue to the tone of Faint by Naked Basics, but it is more red, for this reason I do not like it. It is well pigmented, it is easy to shade.

Sophisticated is a gray-brown color with a golden shimmer. It looks nice in tandem with taupe Selfish. If you use Selfish for the daily make-up, and then add Sophisticated, you will get the evening. Very practical 🙂

Seductive is a light brown with orange-gold shimmer shade. I really love to use it as a color for shading smoky. It “lights” look amazingly.

Sexy is a matte dark plum color. Oh my goodness what shade. It is ideal for green eyes. I used it as a dimming the upper fold of the eyelid, outer corner of the eye, I mix with Duraline and get plum arrows. It is very well pigmented, it well shades.

Silly is a dark brown with plum and gold sequins. It is quite difficult to use it solo, because the glitters mercilessly crumble. Ideal applications for the shade is to put it on

a pencil substrate.

Serious is a coal-black matte hue. It is ideal for smoky, darkening the outer corner of the eyes, the arrows. If you compare it with black palette of Naked Basics, so the shade Serious is more black (camera again slightly distorted colors + sorry for sequins, it’s Silly so generously bestowed by them).

Sleek is a dark brown matt shade.. According to the properties and application it is identical to the Serious one, only brown.

And now a few options using this makeup palettes:

1. Selfish on mobile eyelid + Serious to the outer corner of the crease and feather + Sassy little to the inner corner of the eye and under the brow (just a little)

2. We put Snobby on a moving eyelid + Soppisticated on the outer corner and there is shading over the fold + Sleek on the mucous

3. We use the Stubborn on the moving lid + Sexy on the outer corner and there is a shading over fold+ we put Stand-offish on the inner corner and under the eyebrow. The arrow this is Inglot Pigment №22+Duraline.

4. Silly made on a substrate of black pencil is on a movable lid + shading Sleek over the fold.
5. Here, of course I messed up with the color’s combination. I used Selfish for moving lid and Sultry over the fold, Sexy + arrow Duraline
