L’Oreal Color Riche Collection Privee J Lo’s Nude – a luxurious nude lipstick

So, here’s L’Oreal Color Riche Collection Privee lipstick in J Lo’s Nude.
I’ve never used much of L’Oreal products before, but this lipstick caught my eye, may be after having read some of the reviews …

The lipstick tube is matte black with a gold detailing, the company name and the celebrity’s signature on it as well. It looks laconic and respectable.  

The shade of the lipstick is light pink beige. On my lips and swatches the colour is a bit pinker.

Detailed review: 

The lipstick texture is soft and cream without shimmer. With the help of this lipstick you can easily make up your lips even when you’re in a hurry. The lipstick gives you no feathering and bleeding. It can accentuate your cracked lips for some time, but in a while the lipstick soaks into your lips removing all the cracks and dead skin cells. A mere miracle. The lipstick has a moisturizing effect.

The smell is rather specific. Personally I don’t like it. I should have tried it in the shop before purchasing. Thank God, the smell disappears in 15 minutes. But these 15 minutes are awful. To my mind the smell resembles plastic or an old lipstick. The lipstick taste isn’t very pleasant as well.

The lasting power is about 2 hours. Then the lipstick loses its glossy sheen.

All in all I like this lipstick. It’s quite good for a nude makeup. It doesn’t dry my lips out, and quite the contrary it moisturizes them. The lipstick is perfect for everyday wear and for night with a dramatic evening eye makeup.

There are only two moments that worry me: the smell and the lipstick lid which you need to turn to close it properly. It can be annoying when you’re short of time. Despite these small drawbacks everything is OK.
